With a lot of people wanting a lot of questions answered, Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim skipped out on his post game press conference after a loss to NC State on Saturday

The Syracuse Orange were routed on Saturday afternoon in ACC action, however after the game was over, the last thing that anyone wanted to talk about in the media room was what happened on the floor. No, really all anyone cared about hearing was the official response of Orange head coach Jim Boeheim to the sanctions that were handed down to the program on Friday morning.

Well, everyone was out of luck because Boeheim just completely skipped out on the presser altogether.

Instead, Boeheim sent assistant coach Mike Hopkins in his place, a move that left a lot of people with a bad taste in their mouths, even though Boeheim tried his best to explain his absence in a brief statement that he released.

The simple fact of the matter is that no matter what explanation he offers up, no one is going to see a logical reason why Boeheim could not meet with the media. You know, the same man that has approached press conferences with such arrogance that you get a sickening feeling in your stomach at times? But, when the heat was ready to be cast upon him, he was nowhere to be found, throwing everyone else to the wolves.

Whatever the case may be, it’s also a simple fact that Boeheim can’t run from this forever. Eventually he’s going to have to face the music and address his nine-game ACC suspension for next year, as well as all the scholarships the school will be losing over the course of the next four years.
