NC State fans chanted ‘YMCA’ at Syracuse basketball players

The NC State fans were less than kind on Saturday when they welcomed in the Syracuse Orange, who are not having a good time lately

On Friday the huge news broke that not only was the NCAA coming down hard on the Syracuse Orange, they were coming down with virtually everything they had in regards to infractions that have dated back for more than a decade.

One of the infractions that Syracuse was found to have committed was players accepting money for “volunteer” work that they did at the YMCA. Of course, anyone who knows college sports knows that this is a big no-no, so the punishment was more than warranted.

In addition to the NCAA punishment, though, you know that the Syracuse players are going to take some abuse from opposing fans, and that’s exactly what happened on Saturday when they went to Raleigh to take on NC State.

During warm ups before the game even got started, the NC State faithful let the Syracuse players know how funny they see the whole YMCA ordeal to be.

Yeah, this is gonna be something that will likely happen again, maybe a few times in the future. This is only the beginning for the misery that Syracuse basketball will be facing.
