With time running out and the game tied at 73, Oklahoma had to go the length of the court for the victory.
Oklahoma guard Isaiah Cousins drove down the court with a full head of steam and attempted the game-winning layup.
Cousins just missed, but lucky for him and everyone in Norman, Oklahoma, teammate Buddy Hield was right behind Cousins for the put back and the Oklahoma victory.

Hield coming from absolutely out of nowhere stunned Kansas and the crowd. He also created pandemonium among the fans at the Lloyd Noble Center. Kansas came into the game with a depleted squad, but Oklahoma gave everything they had to pick up the incredible victory and improved their seeding as conference tournament play arrives.
Both of these teams will indeed be in March Madness, but for Oklahoma, knocking off the conference rival was even more special.
Cousins went for the win and missed, but Hield had his back and Oklahoma stormed off the court as winners.
