The top 15 Wooden Award finalists were announced on Saturday, the award which recognizes the best college basketball player in the nation

With the month of March now here, the college basketball season is sadly coming to an end. Once again this season we have seen some extraordinary individual performances, and every year the best college basketball player in the nation is honored with the most coveted prize in the game, the John Wooden Award.

Much like the Heisman Trophy in college football, the Wooden Award recognizes that best college basketball player for a given season, and again, there have been some outstanding players this season.

On Saturday, with the regular seasons coming to a close, the top 15 Wooden Award finalists were announced. This year the top 15 is led with four finalists from the ACC, a conference which once again proved this year to be one of the tops in the country.
