Murray State’s Justin Seymour pleaded his case for his team to get a spot in the NCAA Tournament, despite being upset by Belmont

Murray State was supposed to run through the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament and make their way into the NCAA Tournament. With the year they had, it was supposed to be that easy. However, we were reminded once again over the weekend that when it comes to March Madness, nothing is a given, and we were reminded of this with Murray State being upset in the waning moments of the final by Belmont, you stole away the automatic bid.

Despite this, though, there are still a few people that believe Murray State, given their impressive resume from the regular season, should get in even though they did not win their conference tourney. But the reality is that next Sunday there is a very good chance that the Racers will be left out in the cold.

Well, Murray State’s Justin Seymour is one of the people that will plead his case for his team right to the very end.

In a very polite, well-thought-out way, Seymour took to his Twitter account recently to congratulate Belmont, but also let the NCAA know that he and his teammates deserve a shot at the national title.

Now it gets good…

That was pretty well put together by Seymour, and it certainly echoes the sentiments of people that have watched this team all season long.

Now, the questions turns to whether or not the NCAA will take this into consideration.
