Stephen Curry completely fakes out Chris Paul, hits jumper (Video)
By Sam Richmond
Steph Curry fooled Chris Paul, setting up an easy jumper for himself that in the second quarter of Sunday’s Los Angeles Clippers–Golden State Warriors game.
Chris Paul is one of the elite point guards in the NBA, but even he was no match for Stephen Curry’s slick moves on Sunday.
Curry completely fooled Paul into thinking he was going to shoot a three, only to step up and knock down a wide-open jumper in the second quarter of Sunday’s Los Angeles Clippers-Golden State Warriors game.
Plays like these are what help make Curry so special. The threat of his three-point shot is so great that he’s able to create easy opportunities for himself elsewhere on the court.

Incredibly enough, that was Curry’s first and only field goal of the first-half. However, the Warriors entered the break with a 57-50 lead over the rival Clippers. Paul is helping keep Los Angeles in the game, posting eight points, eight assists and four rebounds over the game’s first 24 minutes.
While Curry’s not having an elite performance on Sunday, he’s performed at an MVP-caliber level all year long. He’s currently averaging 23.8 points (48.4 percent shooting from the field, 41.7 percent shooting from beyond the arc), 7.8 assists and 4.4 rebounds per game.
