The Chicago Bulls play the Memphis Grizzlies tonight at the United Center, and will be wearing their green uniforms in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.

Spring is in the air, snow is melting, hearts are thawing and the Bulls are wearing green for St. Patrick’s Day.

From NBA.com:

"The Chicago Bulls will host the team’s annual St. Patrick’s Day game, presented by Bud Light, on Monday, March 9, when they play the Memphis Grizzlies at the United Center. Fans entering the stadium will receive Bud Light paperboy hats while supplies last."

Nothing brings you back to the cloudy shores of the Emerald Isle quite like an ice cold Bud Light. A true Irishman fondly remembers the dusky pub on the night of St. Patrick filled with patrons bellowing the chorus of “The Irish Rover,” with a comely girl in one hand and a Missouri brew in the other.

The uniforms were revealed in July of last year, and because beauty no longer exists in the world, they will have sleeves.

While many will argue the addition of sleeves, few Bulls fans complain about the team’s fresh green jerseys they trot out every year. With the defensive talent on either side, emerald-clad Bulls partisans will get to enjoy a game where neither team will crack 90 points. Hopefully they are #UpForWhatever.
