dt. washington. danny shelton. 7. player. 57. One of the worst kept secrets in the NFl is that the Chicago Bears need to find a way to drastically improve their defense. Shelton is a big body — 6-foot-2 and 339 pounds — and he would give the Bears a player capable of stopping the run. However, on top of his ability against the run, Shelton is also capable of generating pressure up the middle. Don’t let his size fool you, because Shelton is a true playmaker along the interior defensive line and he would give the Bears a much-needed boost in the middle of their poor defense.
