DT Terrance Knighton

Over the past few years, one player who has really transcended into one of the fan-favorites in the league is Terrance Knighton. Known at “Potroast”, Knighton really found himself with the Denver Broncos. He was a decent player with the Jacksonville Jaguars for four years, but the past four years have really shown how god Knighton is. Although Knighton’s numbers won’t wow you, he’s basically the table-setter, a guy who can create one-on-ons and take on consistent double teams.

Del Rio got the most out of Knighton and considering he’s only 28 years old, Knighton most certainly has some gas in the tank. The Raiders drafted Justin Ellis last year and he showed at times his potential and how he could be a really good player for the Raiders over the next few years.

Knighton would bring a veteran presence to this position and he could be a mentor to Ellis. This move would be the best for both parties as Knighton has played his best football when he has played for Del Rio. By coming to the Raiders, Knighton could stay with his old coordinator.
