The New York Giants also showed some interest in Searcy, but the Titans have won the bidding war. Searcy will join Michael Griffin and Jason McCourty in Tennessee to help that secondary. The Titans still have plenty of work to do to fix the team, but this is a solid player to add onto the defense.

Searcy appeared in 15 games for the Bills last season and finished the year with 65 tackles and 3 interceptions. It was his best season as a pro. He will be entering his 5th year in the league. He has played in 62 games in the last 4 seasons, with 23 starts.

The Bills were looking to re-sign their free agent, but were unable to compete with the Titans. He was drafted in the 4th round in the 2011 draft out of North Carolina. He was the Bills’ starter at safety and they had one of the top defenses in the league. He will be looking to make the Titans one of the best defenses in the game as well.
