Radamel Falcao’s Manchester United future seems to be set in stone after failing to impress again, this time in the club’s reserve game.
Radamel Falcao’s Manchester United future is all but set after failing to catch the eye yet again.
The Colombian forward on loan from AS Monaco for a reported loan fee of £6 million has been on the fringes recently for Louis van Gaal’s side this season.

Falcao was on the bench for Manchester United’s 2-1 home loss to Arsenal in the FA Cup and wasn’t called upon as the Red Devils were desperately in need of a goal. Falcao instead, played for the United reserves today and still couldn’t do anything to make an impact, eventually getting substituted.
In the 20 games Falcao has played for at Manchester United this season, he has only scored four goals and while he does have four assists to his name, it is simply not enough for a player who is currently earning astronomical wages reported to be over £300,000 per week.
Aside from his statistics, Falcao also looks a shadow of his former self, seeming less confident and missing chances you would usually bet your mortgage on him scoring:
United fans have clearly had enough:
As part of the loan deal, United can pay £43.5 million to make the deal permanent but the chances of that happening right now are slim to none – and that was the case even before Falcao put on a United jersey for the first time.
It looks like Falcao should brace himself for a return to France.
