The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with former Falcons wide receiver Harry Douglas as NFL free agency gets started on Tuesday.
Former Falcons receiver Harry Douglas has come to terms with the Titans on Tuesday. He visited the Titans last month and has been hearing offers from other teams during this last week. Douglas is getting a three year deal according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, but no word on the money yet. Pro Football Talk‘s Mike Florio has also confirmed Douglas is joining the Titans.

Douglas is listed as 6’0, 183 pounds and he is 30 years old. He played for the Falcons for six years and had 136 catches over the last few seasons. Over his career, Douglas has hauled in 258 passes for 3,130 yards and eight touchdowns. In 2013, he had 85 catches for over 1,000 yards and two touchdowns. In 2014, he had roughly half that with 51 catches for 556 yards.
According to a story by the Tennesseean, Douglas revealed earlier on Tuesday that it was nice to feel the love from his chosen team, though he didn’t say what team he had chosen.
“In this process, I am big on love, and the place feeling like a home away from home,” Douglas said, “so that was big for me. (I wanted) an opportunity to be a (No.) 1 or a (No.) 2 receiver, and (be) not far from home.”
Most recently for the Titans, quarterback Jake Locker has announced that he’s retiring from the NFL. Locker has spent much of his time in the league struggling with injuries and in his statement he said he no longer had the strong desire to keep playing.
The Titans are also expected to sign safety Da’Norris Searcy to a four year, $24 million dollar deal, according to NFL.com.
The team is in full rebuilding mode following a woeful 2-14 season last year.
