The second game of the ACC Tournament is now in the books and the Virginia Tech Hokies will be taking on the Miami Hurricanes in the second round

One of the tournaments that everyone was looking forward to got started on Tuesday with the beginning of the ACC Tournament. While we did not see some of the best teams the conference has to offer to get things going, we were treated to some rather exciting contests.

In the first game of the afternoon, the Boston College Eagles were able to storm back and take care of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Georgia Tech was in control for much of this one, however some late mistakes did them in and Boston College was able to capitalize.

The second game of the afternoon featured another exciting contest, this time with Virginia Tech outlasting Wake Forest. This one was back and forth throughout, but after an exciting ending, the Hokies were able to hold on to the win.

With all of that being said, here’s a look at the updated ACC Tournament bracket after the first round:

That’s where we stand right now and this tournament will more than likely not disappoint, if the results from Tuesday were any indication.
