Report: DeMarco Murray decision coming Wednesday night

Dallas Cowboys free agent running back DeMarco Murray is expected to make a decision on where he will be playing next season Wednesday night.


The DeMarco Murray has saga has been capturing the attention of everyone since free agency began. The signing of running backs in the NFL appear to be held up by his decision as the run on running backs has yet to occur.

It appears that the decision for DeMarco Murray is coming soon. As soon as Wednesday night.

According to Ian Rapoport, speaking on the NFL Network, Murray is expected to make his decision on where he is going to be making decision Wednesday night.

Rapoport also notes that the Raiders are believed to be offering the most money.

The teams that have been heavily linked to Murray are the Oakland Raiders, Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars and Philadelphia Eagles.

The Raiders are believed to be offering Murray the most money. Adding Murray to the Raiders behind Derek Carr would make the Raiders offense more dynamic, especially if they add a top receiver in the draft.

The relationship between the Cowboys and Murray has been taking constant twists and turns. The Cowboys reportedly low-balled Murray with an offer that upset him. Murray met Tuesday night with head coach Jason Garrett to discuss his future.

The Jaguars have been reportedly making a huge run at Murray and have had coaches, players and fans have campaigning hard for the addition of Murray to an offense in need of a running back. The Jaguars have also already added tight end Julius Thomas this off-season as they continue to provide young quarterback Blake Bortles with help.

Murray reportedly reached out to Eagles head coach Chip Kelly and could be a big addition to the Cowboys NFC East rival. The Eagles are in need of a running back after Frank Gore backed out of a deal with Philadelphia.

Murray could be the first shoe to drop for running backs. It appears the answer will be coming soon.
