DeMarco Murray will make his first visit in free agency and it will be with the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday.
Former Dallas Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray is flying out to Philadelphia to meet with Eagles officials on Thursday. The Philadelphia Eagles have been busy this offseason, trading away a number of key players and then doing a lot of work in free agency. They have traded away Nick Foles and LeSean McCoy off of the roster. The team has added Kiko Alonso, Sam Bradford, Byron Maxwell, Walter Thurmond III and Ryan Mathews onto the roster this offseason.
Will they add another big time running back to the team?

The Eagles traded away LeSean and then signed Ryan Mathews as the assumed replacement. It seems that the Eagles are not done doing work at the position. They are bringing in Murray in for a visit and are expected to be one of the favorites to sign him.
Murray proved to be one of the top backs in the league last season when he ran for 1,845 yards and 13 touchdowns. Chip Kelly has plenty of snaps to share in the Eagles backfield if Murray wants to join the group. Chip will have to be creative on how he splits the carries with Darren Sproles, Ryan Mathews and DeMarco Murray, but I am sure that Chip will find a way to make it happen.
Murray will get a nice look at what his market value when he makes the visit in Philadelphia. The Oakland Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars are also interested in bringing the back to their backfields. The Dallas Cowboys would like to bring him back.
Where will DeMarco end up?
