Newly signed Eagles running back DeMarco Murray thinks the Eagles can win the Super Bowl

DeMarco Murray is fresh off a new deal with a new team. The NFL’s leading rusher last season went from the Dallas Cowboys to NFC East rival Philadelphia. The running back made it known it wasn’t about the money but rather a shot at Super Bowl titles.

Not only does DeMarco Murray think the Eagles have a shot at the Super Bowl, he thinks they have a great one.

It’s a head-scratching statement after the moves the Eagles have made this off-season and the fact the Cowboys almost made it there last year as they fell just short of reaching the NFC Championship Game.

The Eagles just missed the playoffs last year with a 10-6 record.

The Eagles this off-season have been front and center in free agency with the moves they have been making.

The first was trading franchise rushing leader LeSean McCoy for Kiko Alonso, a former Oregon Duck. That move alone had people wondering if Kelly was filling the Eagles roster with all former Ducks.

The next puzzling moment was running back Frank Gore backing out of a deal with the team to sign with Indianapolis instead. The next blow came moments after when the team’s leading receiver Jeremy Maclin left for Kansas City.

Then at the start of free agency, the team acquired oft-injured Sam Bradford from the Rams for Nick Foles. The team is also reportedly shopping All-Pro guard Evan Mathis.

While the Eagles have made many puzzling moves, Chip Kelly seems to have a plan. The team has added Murray, Ryan Mathews, and former Seahawks cornerbacks Byron Maxwell and Walter Thurmond III.

While their have been some strange moves made by Philadelphia, the team has also added some major talent.

Those moves have Murray thinking the team could win the Super Bowl this year.
