Where Is DeMarco Murray In Our Way Too Early Top Ten Rankings

The NFL has absolutely gone bonkers lately with some bizarre trades and even more bizarre free agent signings. Some of these trades and signings make sense and some of them make you wonder if the NFL has been hacked and taken over by a bunch of 12-year-old-kids who have never even ran a fantasy football team before.

Running Back. Cincinnati Bengals. Jeremy Hill. 10. player. 56. Jeremy Hill looks like the back that the Bengals have wanted all along. He is a well-rounded back that can do a little bit of everything and really did well with his opportunities last season. I expect Hill to pretty much be the guy as of right now heading into the 2015 season. He is a guy that I would also be targeting in keeper and dynasty formats as he should be a top back for several years to come.

player. 45. Right now Anderson is not getting very much love. Once the Broncos break camp and they realize that Manning is fine and Anderson has a firm grip on this job his value will shoot up. Anderson is a guy that I like a lot heading into this season. I had hopes that his value would be low so I could steal him in the middle rounds of drafts, but I don’t think this guy is a secret that we can keep bottled up.. Running Back. Denver Broncos. C.J. Anderson. 9

Well I just could not justify having Murray any higher than this eight spot. There are several factors for me involved here. One of them is the news of Ryan Matthews signing with the Eagles. This may be good news for the Eagles, but this is not good news for fantasy owners of Murray. Another reason and I am just going to be honest here, I don’t think anyone has a clue what Chip Kelly is up to here. There are rumors flying around like crazy and it is just way to early to know too much. I will say that at this point, I don’t really want anything to do with Murray if this is a true 50/50 backfield as we saw McCoy struggle last year in this offense. I will leave him for the next guy to draft. I might be a Ryan Matthews buyer, but only in the later rounds. Then when the other issue I have with Murray, which is the ‘<a href=. Running Back. Philadelphia Eagles. DeMarco Murray. 8. player. 54

16. I love McCoy’s talent and he is one of my favorite backs to watch play the game. I actually think that what we have here could be a recipe for McCoy to finish the season as the #1 overall back. However it is hard to reason that out in a way too early draft ranking for top ten RBs. We all know Rex Ryan will want to run McCoy into the dirt and he should get all the touches he can handle, but in order for him to not face 8-man fronts for 75% of the game the Bills and Ryan have a lot of work left to do.. Running Back. Buffalo Bills. LeSean McCoy. 7. player

57. I battled back and forth with myself about putting LeSean McCoy ahead of Forte here, but again we have such unknown commodities as to how McCoy will be used in Buffalo and how Forte will be used with the changes that are likely coming in Chicago. Forte has been a top back for several years now and I can see this going either way. If I was drafting a keeper league I would no question take McCoy over Forte here, but for redraft and one year league purposes I am drafting to win now and not caring about the future.. Running Back. Chicago Bears. Matt Forte. 6. player

Seattle Seahawks. Marshawn Lynch. 5. player. 36. I am just adding him here so I don’t get fined. Okay, I really was just looking for a dumb way to use his words in a post about him. Lynch is a back that is getting a lot of miles on him. The 29-year-old will be heading into his tenth season this year and I had some worries and doubts about the Seahawks using him as the bell cow that they have in the past. I want to now believe that with the 12-million-dollar investment that they have made in him that he will see some very similar usage for the 2015 season as he did in 2014. Feel free to draft him as the fifth back off of the board unless you are in a PPR (point-per-reception) league where he sees a slight down-tick in value.. Running Back

49. Eddie Lacy has still not really won me over despite finishing as a top three back in ESPN standard leagues last year. There is some sort of trust factor with him for me. I really struggled having him at the four spot and not moving him down. I guess I believe in him enough, but I think sometimes he becomes the forgotten man unless the Packers get a big lead early on. You certainly will not go wrong taking him as the forth RB off of the draft board though.. Running Back. Green Bay Packers. Eddie Lacy. 4. player

Adrian Peterson. 3. player. 60. In a bit of a risky move, considering some mild uncertainties with his future, I will put Peterson as my #3 overall RB. He is easily one of the best running back talents in the NFL and as long as he gets back on the field he will be a top back. I can understand you not wanting to take this kind of risk, but by the time we draft we should know a lot more about his situation and he will most likely shoot up to the #2 spot for everyone else as well. Most guys are fairly low on him just regarding his uncertainty.. Running Back. Minnesota Vikings

Jamaal Charles battled through a couple of tough injuries but still finished up the season as the seventh overall RB in ESPN standard scoring leagues. I would trust Charles over most anyone not named Le’Veon. The best bet is after drafting Charles to make sure you draft his handcuff and hang tough through all of the bye weeks.. Running Back. Kansas City Chiefs. Jamaal Charles. 2. player. 124

With the season that Bell had last year I would think there is little to no doubt that Bell enters this season as the consensus top back and most likely the consensus number one overall pick for almost all formats of fantasy football. He should be assured of a similar workload for the upcoming season and will be ready to roll barring any unforeseen injuries or acquisitions.. Running Back. Pittsburgh Steelers. LeVeon Bell. 1. player. 55
