Mike Trout lobbies for DeMarco Murray to sign with Philadelphia Eagles

Los Angeles Angels star Mike Trout took to Twitter to nicely ask DeMarco Murray to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles
Mike Trout may be a star for the Los Angeles Angels, however his allegiance to his beloved Philadelphia Eagles has never wavered, with him being from Millville, NJ and all. This was no more evident than on Wednesday night when he openly lobbied for his Eagles to make a blockbuster signing that could very well take place on Thursday.
Early Thursday morning we learned the news that running back DeMarco Murray is not only headed to Philly to meet with the Eagles, but his intentions are apparently to not leave there without a contract. Of course, as you would expect, this has Eagles fans pretty happy at the fact that they could steal one of the best players away from the rival Cowboys, and that includes Trout.
Just a short time after the news was announced on Wednesday that Murray was headed to Philadelphia, Trout took some time out of his spring training schedule to lobby for Murray to sign with the Eagles.
Now of course, there are a lot of Eagles fans on Twitter lobbying directly towards Murray to complete the signing, but it holds a little more weight when it comes from arguably the best baseball player in the game at the moment, as well as one of the biggest Eagles fans you can find.
Although he’s in the middle of spring training at the moment, you can bet that Trout will be watching intently on Thursday to see if the deal can get done.
