The New Orleans Saints are going to look radically different in 2015 with the roster being completely overhauled and nearly everyone is on the trade block.

Saints fans have to be in a state of disbelief and wondering what is going on with their beloved NFL team after some puzzling and shocking personnel moved this month.

The Saints are in salary cap hell and moves were to be expected, but I don’t think any of the fans anticipated seeing Pierre Thomas and Curtis Lofton released and All-Pro tight end Jimmy Graham traded to the Seattle Seahawks for center Max Unger and the No. 31 pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.

This comes one year after the Saints released Darren Sproles, Lance Moore, Jabari Greer, Will Smith, Roman Harper and Jonathan Vilma.

At least the Saints were able to re-sign Mark Ingram and signed free agent cornerback Brandon Browner on Thursday, but according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, no one outside of Drew Brees and 2014 first-round pick, Brandin Cooks are safe.

This is not going to sit well with Saints fans who are still mourning the loss of Graham who signed a long-term extension last offseason and was the favorite target of Drew Brees who admitted he was just as surprised to see him gone as everyone else.

Marques Colston restructured his deal to stay, but Kenny Stills could be the next offensive weapon to. According to Dianna Marie Russini of NBC 4 in Washington D.Cc, the Saints are “trying to trade” the third-year wide receiver.

He would fetch a nice return, but it would be foolish to trade a receiver who is not even 23 years old and quietly developing into one of the more efficient receivers in the NFL. Similarly, it would be just as surprising to see the team give up so soon on former first round pick, safety Kenny Vaccaro.

Yes, many difficult decisions are made as a result of the salary cap, but this is a tough time for the Saints fans who are holding their breath wondering who the next one of their favorite players will be shown the door.
