New Orleans Pelicans

Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans have fought their way back to being the eighth seed in the Western Conference and have been a very surprising team this year. It certainly wasn’t expected that they’d be a playoff team at this point in the season with all of the hardships that they have endured, but they are there.

At this point in the season, they hold a 36-29 record and are finally beginning to click together as a team.

New Orleans is still waiting on and hoping for the returns of point guard Jrue Holiday and key bench scorer Ryan Anderson. If those two guys are able to come back from their injuries, the Pelicans are going to be even more dangerous.

It will be interesting to see if the Pelicans can hold onto the final playoff spot in the conference.

Oklahoma City is right behind them, but New Orleans definitely has the potential to remain in the playoffs. Don’t be surprised to see them continue their impressive play of late for the remainder of the year.
