In Auburn’s SEC Tournament quarterfinal game against LSU, Jordan Granger was ejected for throwing a punch.

Auburn forward Jordon Granger ejected from Friday’s SEC quarterfinal against LSU after throwing a punch at Jordan Mickey.

Here’s how it all went down:

Jordon Granger was clearly frustrated by a blatant foul by Jordan Mickey grabbing his shoulder and getting his elbow involved resulting in a tangle up that lead to Granger punching Mickey and being assessed a flagrant foul and getting an ejection.

And this wasn’t the only aggression seen in the game. In the first half, Auburn’s Antoine Mason was give a flagrant 1 after hitting LSU’s Tim Quarterman in the face.

Auburn found their way into the quarterfinal against LSU after defeating Mississippi State in the first round 74-68 and defeating Texas A&M in round two 66-59. Auburn went 12-19 in the regular season and 4-14 in the SEC that led them to their 13 seed in the SEC Tournament, only ahead of the Missouri Tigers.

Auburn has already knocked off the 12 seed and the five seed and now they’re trying to take care of four seed LSU. The winner of this game will take on the Kentucky Wildcats in the SEC Tournament semi-final. Auburn lost to Kentucky 110-75 in the regular season.
