According to the Daily Mail, Tyson said, “I thought from the start that Paquiao is going to win. This guy is perpetual motion. He comes from every angle. He’s all energy. Always throwing punches. Never stops. Floyd tucks in and picks his shots and he is more accurate. But he doesn’t throw anything like Manny’s hundred punches a round.”
“It’s unlikely he can knock Manny out so if he wants to win he’s got to change. Unless he throws more punches he can’t win the rounds.”
Here’s Tyson’s video on why he thinks Manny Pacquiao will win the fight:
Tyson says for Mayweather, it’s all about looking at the opponents that Manny Pacquaio has struggled with: Tim Bradley and Juan Manuel Marquez who throw more than 100 punches a round.
Floyd Mayweather, 38, is a five-time world champion with his 47-0 undefeated record and is likely to retire after this match as he’s talked about retirement in the past year.
Manny Pacquiao, 36, is 57-5 in his career and also has two draws. The filipino sensation is finally getting the match that he and the public have wanted for years between the two best welterweight fighters in the world.
Much anticipation is leading up to this fight, and we’ll see who the true best boxer in the world is on May 2 when Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather finally fight.
