Oregon is in the Pac-12 Championship Game, thanks in large part to Joseph Young coming through in the clutch for his team

The Oregon Ducks were one of the better teams in college basketball this past season, and that’s thanks in large part to the Pac-12 Player of the Year, Joseph Young, who was outstanding all year long. Friday night in the semifinals of the Pac-12 Tournament, he showed just why he’s one of the best players in the nation.

Oregon and Young took on Utah Friday night, and for the most part, this was one of the better games that we’ve seen this tournament season. With time winding down, Utah was able to hit a shot to tie things up at 64. From that point, it seemed as if we were headed for overtime.

Well, Joseph Young had another idea. He really didn’t feel like playing the extra five minutes, so he just brought the ball down the court and drilled the game-winning three to send the Ducks into the title game right then and there.

Again, that’s why he’s considered one of the best players in the nation.

Young and Oregon will see of they can capture the whole thing on Saturday now when they take on Arizona.
