3. Above Average Teamwork
One of the most important things for a team with championship hopes needs to have is above average teamwork. That is exactly what the Golden State Warriors have, and they do it each and every night and don’t let the success they are having get to their heads.
So far this season, Golden State has been averaging 27.1 assists per game. That number is good for the top ranking in the league as far as assists go, and it is a big reason that their entire roster has success when they are called upon.
It isn’t often that a team can have as many quality players as the Warriors do, but continue sharing the basketball like they have all season long.
Part of that has to do with the excellent coaching of first-year head coach Steve Kerr, but that will be another point later on in this list. Golden State’s unselfish attitude has shown in a big way this season, and as long as they continue doing so they will be extremely difficult to beat.
Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson have done an excellent job of sharing the ball, and they will continue doing just that.
