With Selection Sunday now here, this is the first look at the bracket that was announced for the Midwest Region of March Madness

Selection Sunday for March Madness has finally arrived, and on Sunday, we are beginning to learn the teams that are filling out the field and where they are seeded. We just learned a short time ago who will be a part of the Midwest Region for the 2015 NCAA Tournament.

Now it should come as no surprise to anyone watching the Selection Show on Sunday night that the No. 1 seed in the Midwest Region is the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament, the Kentucky Wildcats. One of the best college basketball teams ever assembled, Kentucky comes into this tournament looking to make some serious history, entering the fold at an astounding 34-0.

But, they have some competition in this region, such as the No. 2 seed.

As for the No. 2 seed in the Midwest Region, that distinction goes to Kansas, who will be looking for some serious redemption from what happened at the beginning of the season when they were routed by the Wildcats.

With that being said, here is a look at the complete Midwest Region bracket for the 2015 NCAA Tournament.
