Ron Rivera gives Stephen Curry custom jersey for birthday
Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera gave Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry a customized Panthers jersey for his birthday.
Stephen Curry is having one of the best seasons of any player this season as his Warriors are first in a loaded Western Conference. When the season is over, Curry an MVP candidate could be the recipient of multiple awards. Saturday night, Curry was the recipient of a birthday gift.

Before the Warriors took the court against the New York Knicks, Curry received a gift from a special visitor.
Curry, who grew up in North Carolina, received a customized Carolina Panthers jersey from Panthers head coach Ron Rivera.
Rivera was at the game to personally give Curry the jersey in the Warriors locker room.
The Panthers jersey was No. 30, the jersey number that Curry wears for the Warriors.
Curry shook the head coach’s hand and was thankful for the gift. The Warriors would roll to a 125-94 victory on Curry’s 27th birthday.
Curry would finish with a double-double as the point guard had 25 points and 11 assists in the victory.
It was a happy birthday indeed for the Warriors guard as he received a jersey from his favorite team and his own won another game as they march toward the playoffs.
