With all of the conference tournament action now out of the way, it’s time to get the field of 68 teams ready so we can watch the NCAA Tournament begin to play itself out later this week. There were a lot of talented teams in college basketball this season once again, and it will be interesting to see where some of them are seeded.

For just one example, with their loss in the Big 12 Championship Game on Saturday, where will the committee see it fit to put the Kansas Jayhawks? Furthermore, how much did the win for Iowa State bolster their own seeding?

Not everyone is always happy by the time that Selection Sunday, but hey, you can’t please everyone. Some teams will be given some gifts, while some others will be going into the fold with a huge chip on their shoulders.

Then, of course, there will definitely be one or two teams that will be left out of March Madness that we all collectively agree should have been given a chance.

It’s one of the most exciting events in sports and it will all play itself out live on Sunday on CBS at 6 PM ET.
