Anthony Davis is not one of us, as this video proves

The Pelicans’ Anthony Davis is having a ridiculous season, becoming one of the NBA’s best players, and easily the most important to his team. All that we know, but we didn’t know he could do this:

Davis hangs in the air for about a full week in that video. Maybe his unibrow has the power of flight.

Davis was already having a ridiculous night, nearing a quadruple double with 36 points, 14 rebounds, 9 blocks and 7 assists. Despite his efforts, the team ended up losing to Denver in overtime.

The 22-year-old big man is leading the league in blocks and PER (although it has fallen off from the Wilt Chamberlain levels of the early season), and is averaging 24.7 points per game in what has become his breakout season. Despite a million injuries to his already somewhat weak supporting cast, New Orleans is only game behind the Thunder for the last playoff spot in the West (which would make them the third or fourth best team in the East, probably).

In the meantime, if Davis’ unibrow does have the power of flight, he’s going to need to be very careful. Let no one near your face, Anthony Davis. This could turn into a Sampson and Delilah situation, and then we wouldn’t be able to watch Anthony Davis do things like this anymore.
