Gilbert Arenas gun reference on Jeopardy (Photo)
Jeopardy left many shaking their heads when they referenced the Gilbert Arenas locker room gun incident on the show with a poor choice of words.
Gilbert Arenas was one of the best players to suit up for the Washington Wizards in the mid-2000’s. On a nightly basis, Arenas had the Wizards as Eastern Conference contenders.

While the Wizards never made it out of the east, the team behind Arenas was a tough out every season.
As the Wizards run came to an end and Arenas wasn’t the same player anymore, things began to unravel in Washington.
At one point, Arenas pulled a gun on teammate Javaris Crittenton after a dispute over a poker game. Crittenton also pulled out a gun during the incident.
Arenas would plead guilty to the charges and was suspended indefinitely by the NBA.
Now it appears the incident has become trivia on the popular game show Jeopardy.
The wording used on the show probably had many shaking their heads.
The use of the word squad, then referencing guns to the team’s old name “Bullets” was very low brow by the show.
While some might have chuckled, the show could have done a far better job in how they worded the question, or in the case of Jeopardy, the answer.
