Philadelphia 76ers forward Thomas Robinson made a volleyball spike as he blocked Celtics guard Phil Pressey Monday.
Thomas Robinson has been a big addition the Philadelphia 76ers after being waived by the Denver Nuggets who acquired him in a trade with the Portland Trailblazers.

Monday night, Robinson made another impact play for the 76ers.
Celtics guard Phil Pressey was driving to the hoop for a layup when Robinson asserted his dominance.
As Pressey went up for the layup, Robinson swatted the shot clear out-of-bounds.
Not only did he swat it, he spiked it like a volleyball.
It was another big play by Robinson as he looks to finally make a permanent home in the NBA.
Since being drafted early in the lottery in 2012, Robinson has bounced around several teams and has never really gotten the opportunity to put his abilities on display.
Robinson has been given the chance in Philadelphia to leave his mark and thus far he has.
Robinson’s block of Pressey showed his explosive leaping ability and that he can play defense at the NBA level.
After several stops along the way, if Robinson can keep this play up, he might have found himself a permanent home in the league.
