Adrian Peterson has been working out during his time off.

It’s been a long year for Adrian Peterson. After just one game with the Minnesota Vikings, a child abuse case came about regarding Peterson and it ultimately led to him being suspended by the NFL. It’s yet to be certain where Peterson will play in 2015. It was reported a few weeks ago that the Vikings treated him poorly during the process, and if that report is true, Peterson could very well be a member of a different team. Many teams have been rumored to be interested in Peterson’s interests. Whoever that team is will reportedly be getting a player who has been living in the gym.

Acccording to Yahoo’s NFL and investigative reporter Charles Robinson, Peterson is looking huge and he must’ve been pumping iron since the start of September.

Although Peterson hasn’t played an NFL game since Week 1 of the 2014 season, considering he hasn’t been allowed to practice with the team, Peterson has had a ton of free time on his hands, and he has been using that, per Robinson’s tweet, to benefit himself and improve his future. Peterson will be 30 years old in less than a few days, and knowing that running backs don’t have a long lifespan in the NFL, it’s good to know for the team that takes on Peterson and the problems that will come with him, they will be getting a guy who has been working hard to get back to his Pro Bowl form and become one of the top backs in the league again. Although Peterson will more than likely never run for a 2,00-yard season again, Peterson still has the body and the drive to be among the league’s greats.
