The Baltimore Ravens will reportedly host former Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon before the 2015 NFL Draft.
The Baltimore Ravens were able to get a deal made with running back Justin Forsett who led the team in rushing last season after Ray Rice was suspended and then put on the commissioner’s exempt list after video was released of his domestic violence incident against now-wife Janay Rice.

Now, the Baltimore Ravens are dealing with more running back problems, as Forsett’s back up and goal line running back Bernard Pierce was released from the team Wednesday after he was arrested for DUI early on Wednesday morning.
Before re-signing Justin Forsett, the Baltimore Ravens were a strong contender for a running back in the 2015 NFL Draft. Then, when Forsett and Baltimore reached a deal along with Pierce in the lineup, it didn’t appear the Ravens would need to draft a running back in the upcoming NFL Draft, but now they could be interested once again without Pierce.
NFL Insider Rand Getlin reported Wednesday that former Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon is scheduled to meet with the Ravens in Baltimore before the draft.
RB Melvin Gordon is scheduled to visit the #Ravens prior to the draft, a source said. Baltimore currently holds the 26th pick.

Melvin Gordon is the second-ranked running back in the NFL Draft behind Todd Gurley, and is projected to go somewhere late in the first round. The Baltimore Ravens have the 26th pick in the NFL Draft, an ideal spot to grab one of the top running backs.
Melvin Gordon was a super star in his final year at Wisconsin. The 6’1 running back rushed for an amazing 2,587 yards and 29 touchdowns and came in second in the Heisman voting behind Marcus Mariota.
Justin Forsett had a great season with the Baltimore Ravens last year rushing for 1,266 yards and 8 touchdowns. If the Ravens choose to draft Gordon, he’ll provide tough competition for the starting spot if all goes to plan. The two would be a force to be reckoned with if they split carries as well.
