Stan Van Gundy must have had somewhere to be following the Detroit Pistons‘ win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night. Poor David Joerger.

When your team wins by ten points, you would expect to see a happy coach basking in the glory of success. However, that wasn’t the case with Detroit Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy following his team’s 105-95 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night.

After the game, Stan Van Gundy and Grizzlies head coach David Joerger met at halfcourt.

Joerger was trying his best to congratulate Stan Van, but Van Gundy must have had better places to be because he wanted nothing to do with the Grizzlies coach and he completely blew Joerger off.

Seriously. Joerger seemed pretty upset about the entire situation, too.

Just have a look at the disappointment from the Grizzlies bench boss.

Geez. Slow down, man.

We’re going to assume that Stan Van Gundy had a sweet afterparty set up and he wanted to be the first man to buy a round. Otherwise, that was just rude.

It will be difficult for Joerger to recover from this kind of heartbreak, but he can just look at each team’s record to feel better about himself. Joerger’s Grizzlies currently lead the Southwest Division with a record of 47-21, while Van Gundy and the Pistons are bringing up the rear in the Central Division with a lowly record of 24-43.
