Montreal Canadiens’ defenseman P.K. Subban unveils new “Stone Cold Stunner” celebration on teammate Dustin Tokarski after win Tuesday night.

We are less than two weeks away from Wrestlemania 31, and while some fans are getting pumped for the wrestling worlds seminal event, P.K. Subban of the Montreal Canadiens is showing his anticipation in a whole different way. After a Montreal win over the Florida Panthers on Tuesday night, the erstwhile defensemen showed goalie Dustin Tokarski his new finishing move.

That’s right fans, Mr. Subban is now employing the infamous Stone Cold Stunner in his post-game celebration routines. At least he remembered he was wearing skates before kicking Tokarski in the guy to hit the stunner.

Needless to say, the celebration will surely lead to some attention from the WWE, who is always looking for a way to incorporate figures from the sports or entertainment worlds into their story-lines and gimmicks. Perhaps Stone Cold will call him out during a trip to Montreal and show him exactly how it’s done in the ring. With how colorful a character Subban is on the ice, he could be a natural cross-over sideshow for the WWE.

As for the game itself, P.K. Subban had more than a reason to celebrate, scoring his 13th goal of the season. In fact, Subban netted what went on to be the game-winning goal at the 15:26 mark in the 2nd period. The win helped move the Canadiens back into sole possession of first place in the Atlantic Division with their 95th points of the season and tied them with the St. Louis Blues for the best record in the National Hockey League.

The Montreal Canadiens seemed primed for a long playoff run as they look to bring home the Stanley Cup. Why? Because P.K. Subban said so.
