A look at all the action taking place on Thursday as Georgetown will be taking on Eastern Washington in a Second Round NCAA Tournament game
FINAL
One of the best times of the year has finally arrived, as March Madness and the NCAA Tournament for 2015 is set to get rolling on Thursday. To help get things kicked off on this first day, we’ll be treated to a match up in the South Region with Georgetown taking on Eastern Washington.
Georgetown had a fantastic year in the Big East once again and they were able to finish up the year with a record of 21-10 on the year. Once again head coach John Thompson III is looking to get this team back to the Final Four heights his dad once had it at, and he’ll be looking to make a solid run this year.
However, to get things going, they’ll have to take on a very good 26-8 Eastern Washington team that came away with the title from the Big Sky Conference. If there is one potential Cinderella team in this field, it could very well be the Eagles.
As all of the action takes place on Thursday night in the South Region, be sure to follow along with live updates provided below.
