A look at the action that will be taking place in the second round on Thursday of the NCAA Tournament between Notre Dame and Northeastern

The NCAA Tournament is all set to get in full swing here for the 2015 season, and all of the action begins on Thursday with the playing of the second round games. One of the games that will get everything started will be Notre Dame taking on Northeastern in the Midwest Region.
Notre Dame comes into this one as the No. 3 seed in the Midwest, and pretty deservedly so. The Irish had a pretty outstanding year in 2014-15 and they recently capped it all off by winning the ACC title. This Notre Dame team is coming into the tournament as definitely one of the hottest teams in the country and they do have a legitimate shot at winning it all.
Northeastern comes into this one as champions of the CAA and with a record of 23-11 on the season. While not many will be giving them much of a chance as the No. 14 seed in the region, we have seen some crazier things happen before and they would love for nothing more than to knock off the ACC champs in the opening weekend.
