A lot of people feel that VCU was underseeded on Selection Sunday, so they will have an opportunity to show the rest of the world that they belong among the elite in college basketball.
“Since the seeding came out, we’ve been watching prediction after prediction, expert after expert saying they got a top-three pick, that he’s mainly going to be the engine that makes them go,” VCU guard Melvin Johnson said, via ESPN.com. “We’re just going to go out and attack.”
This will be VCU’s fifth straight tournament.
If you can’t watch the game as it airs live on Thursday afternoon, we have you covered.
