A look at the action that will be taking place in the second round on Thursday of the NCAA Tournament between Ole Miss and Xavier.
FINAL
The NCAA Tournament is all set to get in full swing here for the 2015 season, and all of the action begins on Thursday with the playing of the second round games. The early slate of games look to kick off the tournament in style, and one of those matchups features a potential upset game with Ole Miss and Xavier.
Ole Miss had to win their way into the Round of 64 by beating BYU — a task that wasn’t easy but was accomplished anyways. From there, the Rebels will take on Xavier, who are the the No. 6 seed but son’t have the overwhelming stats to make you pencil them in as automatic winners.
The Rebels are a dangerous team, as they can kill you with offense if they hit a hot streak. That’s their kryptonite as well though, as Ole Miss lives and dies by their streaky shooting and when it’s not firing, they don’t win. But they lost to No. 1 seed Kentucky by just three points this season, and have wins over Oregon and Arkansas, which bode well for them.
As the action takes place on Thursday, you can follow along with live updated provided below:
