One of the games taking place during Thursday’s busy slate of action is a meeting between the No. 11 seed Texas Longhorns and No. 6 seed Butler Bulldogs at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Texas won three of their last four games to make the tournament, but now they understand there is still a long way to go for people to believe they have a shot at making a deep run in March Madness.
“The only thing we have to prove is to prove to ourselves that we’re a great team like we said we are,” Longhorns freshman forward Myles Turner said, via ESPN.com. “Everybody has their opinions. Yeah we haven’t had the most productive season. But we know what kind of team we’re capable of being.”
