The ACC Champion Notre Dame Fighting Irish are in a tight one with Northeastern to get their NCAA Tournament run started
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish capped off an incredible run this past weekend when they won the ACC Tournament by defeating North Carolina just one night after they knocked off Duke. With that, they were coming into the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday as the three seed in the Midwest Region.
Well already, Notre Dame can sort of see that momentum slipping away a bit, as they are up on No. 14 seed Northeastern 31-27 at the half.

We knew coming in that Northeastern was no slouch, but again, Notre Dame is coming into this tournament riding one of the biggest highs in the country of any team.
One of the problems to start the game out was the disappearance of Jerian Grant, who was slow to get his usual scoring started. However, with the first half winding down, the star guard was able to get it rolling, and if he can take it into the second half, then Notre Dame might be able to pull away in this one.
