Ole Miss had a chance to put on a highlight play Thursday vs Xavier, but they completely flopped on the attempt
Part of the NCAA Tournament is creating memorable moments. and memorable moments on the basketball court are definitely created when you can execute a perfect alley-oop on a fast break. The Ole Miss Rebels had a chance to do this on Thursday in their second round NCAA Tournament game against Xavier, but, well, it didn’t quite work out all that well.
Actually, it was probably one of the worst attempts of all time.
Although they were getting beaten pretty well by Xavier, Ole Miss was looking for anything positive and they had the chance for that on a fast break attempt in the second half. It was about as easy of an opportunity as you can get to convert, and it should have been pulled off with relative ease.
Instead, this happened…
Oh no. No, no, no…that’s not how you do it, Rebs.
But, that pretty much summed up how this one went for Ole Miss, just two days after they were able to pull off a big comeback win in the first round. Still, nothing to be ashamed of this season.
Well, aside from this.
