North Carolina and Cincinnati were able to move on in the 2015 NCAA Tournament on Thursday with wins in the second round

Well the second round of the 2015 NCAA Tournament is rolling along here on Thursday, and we have two more teams that will be advancing into the third round as the North Carolina Tar Heels and Cincinnati Bearcats will be moving on.

Neither win was easy, though.

North Carolina narrowly avoided the upset from Harvard in their contest, and for a time there in the second half, it looked as if they could be in for another heartbreak. However, the Tar Heels were able to fend off the effort in the end and come away with the win.

Now Cincinnati, they had a much tougher time, as they needed an overtime period to get the job done, as well as some luck at the end.

But the major point is that they got the job done and will now be moving on, more than likely to play Kentucky. So, things will be getting a lot harder from here.

With that said, here’s a look at the updated bracket with these two squads moving on.
