Welcome back to the BAE Index.

James Harden drops 50

Harden saw blood in the water on Thursday night, giving the Denver Nuggets all he had. In typical Harden fashion, he reached 50 on a hyper-efficient amount of shot attempts (27), and scored 22 of his 50 at the free throw line. He also chipped in 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Here’s a look of the three-pointer that got him to 50.

Lou Amundson came up just a tad short

It seems as though every time the New York Knicks take the court this season, they make a play or two that are so unbelievably uncoordinated that you’d think it came from a middle-school YMCA league, not from someone actually being paid to hoop. Lou Amundson doesn’t disappoint here.

Cole Aldrich isn’t surprised by Andrew Wiggins’ spin-move

Andrew Wiggins on a regular basis know that he has a masterful spin move. Andrew Wiggins knows it. I know it. You know it. Anyone that has watched him play on a somewhat regular basis since he was in high-school knows it. Apparently, Cole Aldrich knows it as well, and wasn’t surprised in the slightest when Wiggins tried to break it out on him.

Tarik Black cares not for Rudy Gobert’s rim-protecting prowess

After getting posterized earlier in the season, Rudy Gobert defended himself, tweeting “Yeah the best rim protector of the @NBA gets dunked on sometimes”. Calling himself the best rim protector in the league is debatable, but I like Gobert’s confidence. He was also right about how he’ll get dunked on sometimes trying to do his job. Thursday night was one of those nights. Note the post-dunk stare-down by Black.
