Despite being sick, LeBron James will be in the lineup for the Cleveland Cavaliers as they take on the Indiana Pacers.

With the Cavaliers trying to lock down the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference, they need to pick up as many wins as they can get. Friday night, the Cavaliers are visiting the Indiana Pacers, who are trying to grab a playoff spot of their own as they fight for the final playoff spots in the Eastern Conference.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavaliers have been the hottest team in the NBA since the start of the new year with a 25-6 record since then.

Earlier Friday it was reported that LeBron James would be a game-time decision due to illness and sickness.

Now it appears that Cleveland’s leader will take the court in Indianapolis when the game tips off.

The Cavaliers have finally found their chemistry since the start of the new year and it’s unclear if any team is going to be able to stop them once the playoffs roll around. Both the Cavs and the Pacers need a victory Friday night, which seems to suggest the Cavaliers need James more than they’ll admit.

Whether LeBron is 100 percent for tonight’s game against Indiana is another story, but with James on the court the Cavaliers have to be the favorites to win.

However, past history has taught that it’s never easy for a team led by LeBron to grab a victory in Indiana.
