Maryland is favored by 4.5 points.
Valpo has not won a NCAA Tournament game since making a Cinderella run to the Sweet Sixteen in 1998. However, they are hoping to break that streak by pulling off the upset after the higher seeded Maryland.
“I think the biggest thing that we have to go through thinking is that we want to create our own moment,” Valpo forward Alec Peters said, via ESPN.com. “We want to have something like that that we can remember, just like he did with [The Shot].”
