Among Friday’s busy slate of games is a meeting between No. 12 seed Wyoming and fifth-seeded Northern Iowa. Northern Illinois enters the game favored by six points and they have been one of the trendier picks in bracket polls.
Despite being favored, Northern Iowa is not going to buy in to their own hype and they just plan to continue building their own storyline throughout the tournament.
“We’re our own team,” UNI’s Nate Buss said, via ESPN. “We focus on how we play and we focus on our own legacy.”
