NIT 2015: Vanderbilt vs South Dakota State live stream tracker
By Cory Buck
Live scoring updates for the NIT match between Vanderbilt and South Dakota State University.
After South Dakota State upset Colorado State in the first round of the National Invitation Tournament, the tournament swayed drastically in the favor of teams like Vanderbilt, who get first crack at the upstart SDSU basketball team.
The eight seed South Dakota State basketball team was supposed to go away quietly and early in the tournament, but that won’t be happening this time around, thanks to their big upset of Colorado State.
Now Vanderbilt could become one of the favorites in the NIT. First things first though as they must deal with the pesky bottom seed.
Vanderbilt entered the NIT as the five seed in their bracket, promptly upsetting St. Mary’s (CA) to move on to the second round of the tournament. Given that they were a borderline NCAA Tournament team with time left in their regular season, it’s fair to say Vandy could still make quite a bit of noise in the NIT, if that is they’re wary of what awaits them. For now, the SEC product must deal with the foe at hand.
This game — the only such from the NIT tonight — will be played at 9:30PM EST and can be seen on ESPNU.
