The first full day of the NCAA Tournament is now in the books after the action on Thursday, and it was everything we could have hoped for

Thursday brought us the first full day of the 2015 NCAA Tournament and it was everything that college basketball fans hoped it would be–and then some.

Early in the day we saw a few of the thrilling upsets that make this tournament so great, as two No. 3 seeds in Iowa State and Baylor went down. It was two of the more shocking losses of the field to get things kicked off, but again, that’s what makes March Madness and the NCAA Tournament so great.

Also on Thursday we saw the NCAA Tournament debut for this year of the No. 1 overall seed and undefeated Kentucky Wildcats as they took on Hampton and, well, they were their usual, dominant selves as they cruised to the win to advance on into the Third Round where they will take on Cincinnati, who pulled off a thrilling win over Purdue.

There were so many exciting finishes on this first day and we can only hope that Friday brings more.

With that being said, here is a look at the complete NCAA Tournament results from Thursday and the Second Round.
