Northern Iowa pretty much dominated the first half and it seemed that Wyoming was in a heap of trouble. However, Wyoming came out on fire in the second half and even cut the lead to single digits. But late in that second half, Northern Iowa turned it back on again and came away with the 71-54 win.
Many folks see this Northern Iowa team as one that can make a pretty solid run after the amazing regular season they had, and this was a good way to get that started.
With that said, and the game now in the books, here’s a look at the updated bracket after the Northern Iowa win.

So far, this Panthers team is proving everyone right that predicted they could make that run, and it will be interesting to see from here if they can keep this up or not.
