The No. 2 seed Virginia Cavaliers were able to move on Friday in the NCAA Tournament and will now meet Michigan State
There were some people that believed last Sunday that the Virginia Cavaliers deserved a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, and they were out to prove on Friday that they did in their Second Round game with Belmont.
Well, they didn’t exactly open up anyone’s eyes with their performance, however they were able to get the job done in the end, getting the win to move on in the tournament to Sunday’s Third Round.
With the win, the Cavaliers will be meeting No. 7 Michigan State, a team who looked mighty impressive at points on Friday in their win over Georgia. No one wants to see a Michigan State team in March, but the Cavaliers will have no choice on Sunday and they’ll have to overcome the obstacle.
That said, here is a look at the updated bracket with Virginia moving on to play Michigan State this Sunday.

On paper, you would certainly think that this will be one of the better match ups of the opening weekend, and it very might turn out to be just that.
What’s your prediction for the game on Sunday?
